In the men’s floor exercise final, Philippines’ Carlos Edriel Yulo created history by clinching the gold with a score of 15.000 and became the first-ever Filipino to win a medal in artistic gymnastics. In the men’s pommel horse final, Ireland’s Rhys McClenaghan left behind the ghosts of Tokyo 2020 to excel at the Paris 2024 Olympics with a score of 15.533 and win gold.
