Demonstrating his quality in all phases of the game on his way to winning Liverpool’s Player of the Month for December, Wataru Endo’s excellent recent form has been a huge boost for the title-chasing Reds.

After being steadily integrated into the fold by Jurgen Klopp since joining from VfB Stuttgart in the summer for £16 million, the Japan international’s impressively grasped his chances to impress following some key injuries.

Having gathered such positive momentum, the club will now lose their classy midfielder for a host of key fixtures as he heads to the Asian Cup with Japan, with him set to be a huge miss.
