Since January 2023, 600 middle school students from Paris and Seine-Saint-Denis have participated in a United Nations Modeling of the Olympic Truce. Their proposed resolution comprising 160 innovative, ambitious and hopeful proposals was debated and adopted by 120 delegates during a modeling session on June 12. 16 of them were chosen to travel to New York and attend the adoption of the resolution on the Olympic Truce by the United Nations General Assembly. Close to international diplomacy, they were the ambassadors of the Olympic and Paralympic values carried by Paris 2024. This trip is the culmination of an educational project of more than a year carried out with the academies of Paris and Créteil, 30 middle school classes, the City of Paris, the Departmental Council of Seine-Saint-Denis, the French Development Agency and the Sorbonne United Nations association.
