Indian women wrestler Vinesh Phogat has lost in the quarter finals of the Tokyo Olympic 2020. It has been a very big setback for the Indian wrestling team. Vinesh lost to the two times world champion Vanesa Kaladzinskaya by fall. Kaladzinskaya was better off the two wrestlers and was ahead in the match for almost the entire period. Earlier in the pre quarter finals Vinesh defeated Sweden’s Sofia Mattsson 7-1. Vinesh was too good for the 2016’s bronze medalist. Apart from Vinesh India’s another female wrestler Anshu Malik also lost her match. Anshu Malik lost 5-1 to Rio 2016’s silver medallist Valeria Koblova in the repechage round.
