Prior to the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics, the Japan Air Self-Defense Force’s Blue Impulse drew the Olympics over the city center on the afternoon of the 23rd. Blue Impulse drew a 1.2-kilometer-diameter ring using five colors of smoke, blue, black, red, green, and yellow, 1500 meters above the National Stadium. Blue Impulse took off from Iruma Air Base, and the flight time in the city center was about 15 minutes. This is the first time in 57 years since the opening ceremony of the 1964 Tokyo Olympics.
