OFFICIAL AC CESENA PLAYERS’ LIST at 7:38 CLOSE UP ON YUTO NAGATOMO (number 3) at 10:35 The Cesena triangular will be awarded by an already brilliant Chievo. They beat the hosts 1-0 in the direct match, after an initial match against Parma, beaten only on penalties, but very convincing after 45′, even though they finished 0-0. CHIEVO-PARMA The first match, in fact, between Marino’s team and Pioli’s, sees the Venetians start strong, coming close to scoring several times and with an amusing team game. Parma relied on the inventions of individuals, especially Bojinov, while Ze Eduardo headed the crossbar. Chievo, however, appeared much more convincing by taking a post with De Paula, but only winning after penalties. A mistake by Bojinov, the best of the gialloblùs, was fatal for Parma. CESENA-PARMA Cesena beat Parma again on penalties, reinforced by Giovinco after 45′ finished 1-1 (goal from Blazers and equalizer from Paletta with a whip at the edge of the post). Antonioli’s saves on Galloppa’s and Cristiano Lucarelli’s shots from the spot were decisive. Giovinco made an excellent debut in the new team, at times appearing irresistible with his ball and chain. CESENA-CHIEVO Slow-paced final between Chievo and Cesena, both eager to win, both worried about making mistakes. A rather boring 45′ came out of it, unlocked 5′ from the end by Chievo thanks to a split volley from De Falco who deflected a tight cross from the left into the net. (FROM GAZZETTA.IT)
