It is the largest multisport event in Germany since the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich. The Special Olympics World Games will take place in Berlin from June 17th to 25th, 2023. In 26 sports, more than 7,000 athletes from all over the world with mental and multiple disabilities will not only fight for medals, but above all set an example for tolerance, diversity and integration. Around 200 athletes compete in the golf competitions that take place at the Bad Saarow Golf Club alone. Volunteers are needed to ensure that the golf competitions run smoothly. A total of 150 of these volunteers are being sought. Anyone who is at least 16 years old, can spend at least three days (ideally ten days), is flexible and enthusiastic can become part of the games as a golf volunteer.
