Japan trained on Thursday at Al Sadd SC New Training Facilities in Doha, a day after beating Germany to create a big upset at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Hajime Moriyasu’s side came from a goal down to win 2-1 against the four-time World Cup winners – Ritsu Doan and Takuma Asano with the goals in the last quarter of an hour of the game.
Japan are appearing in a seventh straight World Cup and are looking to reach the quarter-finals for the first time.
They will next play Costa Rica on Sunday (27th November).
