Paola Ogechi Egonu (born 18 December 1998) is an Italian volleyball player.[3] She plays for Turkish volleyball club VakıfBank S.K. and was part of the Italy women’s national volleyball team until 2022 when she is considering leaving from the team allegedly due to racism.[4]

She participated at the 2018 Montreux Volley Masters,[1] 2018 FIVB Volleyball World Championship,[5] and 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League.[6]

On club level she played for Club Italia in 2015.[7] She was selected to play the Italian League All-Star game in 2017.[8] In 2017 she moved to AGIL Novara.

She was awarded the prize for Woman of the Year 2019 by D – la Repubblica delle donne, a weekly magazine of la Repubblica.[9]

She was one of the flagbearers of the Olympic Flag at the 2020 Summer Games in Tokyo

Tijana Bošković (Serbian Cyrillic: Тијана Бошковић; born 8 March 1997) is a Serbian professional volleyball player of the Serbia women’s national volleyball team. Bošković is a left-handed and has won gold with the national team at the 2018 World Championship, the 2022 World Championship, the 2017 European Championship, and the 2019 European Championship. She is a two-time Olympic medalist. She won silver at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games and bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics.

Bošković has been one of Serbia’s key players ever since her debut with the national team in 2014. By the age of 21, she had played in gold medal matches in all major tournaments (Olympic Games, World Championship and European Championship) and she was one of the players who has contributed a lot of winning points for Serbia.

Being selected as the 2019 European Volleyball Confederation Female Volleyball Player of the Year award, Bošković has recorded an impressive achievement by receiving that award for three consecutive years (2017, 2018, 2019).

She currently holds women’s world record for serve speed of 111.4km/h.
