Sanda Aldus and Muna Dahawk are Syrian judoka. I’ve been practicing together since I was a kid, but I’ve been separated by the civil war. The two then reunited in the Netherlands, where they arrived as refugees. Both participate in the Tokyo Olympics as a refugee team. Both players will participate in the mixed-gender team competition, which will be the first recruitment at the Tokyo Games.
