Lovlina making her Olympics debut at Tokyo, has marched into the semifinals, assuring India of at least a bronze medal as both semifinalists are assured losing a medal. On the eighth day of the Tokyo Olympics, female boxer Lovlina Borgohain has ensured India’s second medal. Lovlina Borgohain, competing in the Olympics for the first time, achieved this success by defeating Nien-Chin Chen of Chinese Taipei 4-1.
