Nagaland will be sending a team of 305 athletes to participate in the 2nd North-East Olympic Games 2022, which will be held at Shillong, Meghalaya from November 10 to November 16. A special prayer program was organized at Kohima’s hotel Vivor on October 27 by the Nagaland Olympic Association for the Nagaland contingent at Kohima. Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and the President of the Nagaland Olympic Association addressed the gathering at the event and announced that a special incentive will be provided by the state government where cash awards of Rs 50000 for gold, Rs 20000 for silver and Rs 10000 for bronze will be handed over
