[Aiming to be No.1 in Japan]”Wagyu Olympics” examination is in full swing! Kagoshima prefecture representative beef also appeared J-chan + special feature (broadcast on Friday, October 7)

The National Wagyu Talent Show Kagoshima Tournament, also known as the “Wagyu Olympics”. The tournament, which opened on Thursday, October 7th, began full-scale judging today, and the cows representing Kagoshima, which were introduced in the program before, also participated in the judging. Approximately 440 horses from 41 prefectures will be exhibited in the tournament, which will be held in Kagoshima for the first time in 52 years, aiming to be the number one in Japan. At the venue in Kirishima City, exhibitors from Kagoshima Prefecture were carefully washing the cows before the actual event. At the Kirishima venue, the 1st to 4th divisions of the ‘Seed Cattle Division’, which competes on the growth and physical appearance of the cows, were judged. In the 2nd ward, the Kagoshima representative “Takako No. 1”, which was introduced in a previous program, will appear. “Takako” was looking at Mr. Aoki, the producer, maybe a little uneasy, but he showed a dignified appearance during the judging. In the following 3 wards, the prefectural representative “Haruko” appears. Mori Farm, which is producing, took on the challenge based on the reflection of the previous tournament, which was 4th place. The next examination will be held tomorrow for the 1st ward, and the next day for the 2nd to 4th wards, and the grade will be determined. Please see the video for details.
