“Wagyu Olympics” National Wagyu Ability Exhibition Kagoshima Tournament has finally started. At the opening ceremony held at the venue in Makizono-cho, Kirishima City, producers from all over the country who participated in the All-Japan Kagoshima Tournament marched, and the Kagoshima prefecture group who appeared at the end received a particularly loud applause. Approximately 440 horses from 41 prefectures, the largest number ever, have been exhibited at the Kagoshima Games. “‘Wagyu is my life.’ I hereby pledge to continue to shine during the tournament, together with all the exhibitors who have devoted their lives to wagyu and their beloved cows.” Yoshiyuki Mori on behalf of the exhibitors at the opening ceremony took the oath. By October 9th, the examination of each exhibition section will be completed, and on the 10th, the final day, the Prime Minister’s Award will be announced, and the “Japan’s Best Wagyu” will be decided.
