Lauren Williams watched Jade Jones win Olympic gold at London 2012 in a caravan, and nine years later in Tokyo she joined her in becoming an Olympic medallist.
Williams’ silver in the women’s -67kg category was the second Team GB taekwondo medallist of Tokyo 2020, following Bradly Sinden’s silver in the men’s -68kg.
