There are less than 50 days left until the “Wagyu Olympics” National Wagyu Ability Exhibition Kagoshima. Before the prefecture’s final qualifiers on August 28th and 29th, we interviewed two farmers aiming to represent the prefecture. In early August, I visited a farmer in the Aira area to see how a certain cow was doing. At dusk, the cow is in the middle of grooming! Yoshiaki Sonoda, the producer, and JA staff carefully apply shampoo and brushes to condition the hair. The cow’s name is Atsuko. He is one of the cows that will face the final qualifying round, and he is also the cow that won the 3rd place in the national competition at the All-Kyoto Miyagi Tournament five years ago. The last time Atsuko competed was in the 2nd section of the “Bulls Division”. Five years have passed since the Miyagi Tournament…Atsuko who has matured once again faces the qualifiers. This tournament is the 4th section of the “breeding cow division” called “breeding cow group”. Just before the Wagyu Olympic Final Prefectural Qualifiers, we asked the producers about their thoughts on becoming a representative of the prefecture. Many videos are also being distributed on the KKB video app “KAPLI”! ■ KAPLI download page http://www.kkb.co.jp/kapli/ ■ KKB Official Twitter (Aim for 10,000 people!!) https://twitter.com/kkb5mobile/ #Wagyu Olympics #National Wagyu Ability Exhibition# Final qualifying round#Atsuko#Kagoshima#KAPLI
