[TOKYO FORWARD]Tokyo 2020 Games 1st Anniversary Ceremony[Memorial to former Prime Minister Abe]

A commemorative ceremony was held on July 23, 2022, one year after the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics. Admission parades by Olympians and Paralympians and volunteers, and exchange events with athletes with guests were held. There was a plan to divide the venue into 4 sections and play a game with sound in Harisen. Former Prime Minister Abe was shot dead on July 8th, so he had time to remain silent. Governor Koike, Chairman of the Organizing Committee Hashimoto, Organizing Committee Murofushi, and several video messages from overseas, including Chairman Bach of IOC, all expressed their condolences to former Prime Minister Abe. It was also a meeting for volunteers, and although the content was simple overall, I think it was a meaningful event.
