This book was initially designed for families to be able to do together. Whether children are 5 years old, 8 years old or 12 years old, they will find activity pages, maps, puzzles, challenges, worksheets, and more in this book, specific to their age level.
While a few of the pages are geared for Kindergartners, many of the pages are geared for older students, but simple enough that the Kindergartner can do the page alongside their older sibling.
It is ideal for homeschool families, but certainly entertaining and educational for all those who love to learn. Younger students will practice counting, ordinal numbers, charting, geography, alphabetical order, drawing and coloring.
Older students will practice probability and finding the mode, median and mean, charting winning results and scores, biathlon math, Venn diagrams, geography, vocabulary, and spelling.
All students will have the opportunity to learn about the history of the Olympics and the host country, as well as about the individual winter sports. Students will be encouraged to create their own mascot, torch and medal designs, and write an acrostic poem.
