Abstract:
Hiro, as a Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) Japan’s national Head Coach, bases this presentation on recent events. After narrowly missing Team Gold by 0.103 points at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, some changes were necessary, including improving landing techniques. To make this happen, he focused on building trust with coaches and athletes to foster a unified direction. Believing that motivating athletes to train voluntarily is crucial, his athlete-centered approach led Japan to win Team Gold at the 2023 World Gymnastics Championships.
