During week 2 of my 16 week marathon build to the 2024 Paris Olympics I had some tough workouts. I ate a lot of slices of humble pie. I’m grateful for my training partners who push me and inspire me.

We’re still at the beginning of the build when my fitness is coming back. It’s frustrating to see the gap between where I am and where I want to be, but I just have to trust the process and remember that this work will all compound.

In October 2023, I ran 2:08:00 at the Chicago marathon. Then, at the US Olympic Trials marathon in February 2024, I placed second and qualified for Team USA.

I will be racing the Olympic marathon at the Olympic games this summer in Paris. Join me during this training block as I prepare mentally and physically to compete on the biggest stage.
