They finished a difficult Road trip at 5 wins and 4 losses (5-4) without Seiya Suzuki and many others on the shelf.

Taillon is coming back and Seiya Suzuki has been diagnosed with an oblique strain. Canario was called up and Patrick Wisdom will be called up for Miles Mastrobuoni. Luke Little and Daniel Palencia were sent down to Iowa for Colton Brewer and Hayden Wesneski. Brewer was added to the 40-man while Merryweather was finally put on the 60-day IL.
Weneski pitched a gem on Wednesday to secure the W and may stay up while the Cubs have a double header this weekend. Luke Little may also come up for a day if needed.
